Job summary

The Rehabilitation Center of Orlando is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our care team in Orlando, FL. This full-time role offers all shifts and focuses on delivering high-quality, resident-centered nursing care under physician orders and care plans.

Ideal candidates will have an active Florida LPN license, CPR certification, and at least 2 years of experience in long-term care or rehabilitation, with strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with RNs,

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Valid LPN license in Florida.
• Current CPR certification.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in long-term care or rehabilitation.
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
• Ability to collaborate with RNs, CNAs, physicians and therapists.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer and document medications and treatments per policies.
• Assist physicians and other staff with procedures and treatments.
• Observe and report changes in residents’ vital signs and condition.
• Deliver resident-centered care based on care plans and orders.
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned, upholding high standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and accurately document medications and treatments in accordance with policies and regulations.
• Assist physicians, nurse practitioners, and other medical staff with diagnostic procedures and treatments.
• Observe and report changes in residents’ vital signs, symptoms, and overall condition.
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care based on individualized care plans and physician orders.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment to enhance resident care.
• Perform additional duties as assigned, upholding the highest standards of care.

Qualifications
