The Shores, a UMC Community in Ocean City, NJ, is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for full-time day shifts. The role offers competitive hourly pay, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for growth within a senior-focused setting.

As part of our Assisted Living team, you will administer meds, monitor health, and contribute to individualized care plans while working closely with physicians, families, and the care team. Active NJ LPN license is required.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey LPN license is required.
• Experience in long-term care is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to follow physician orders and care plans.
• Familiarity with electronic health records is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders, care plans, and policies.
• Monitor residents and document changes, communicating updates to physicians, families and the care team.
• Complete resident assessments and contribute to individualized care plans.
• Provide clinical support to nursing assistants and medication aides.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including EHRs, med records and nursing notes.
• Support resident transitions, move-ins, orientations, and care changes.
• Promote safe, high-quality care through proper medication management and incident reporting.

What You’ll Do:
