Regional Licensed Practical Nurse / Vocational Nurse / Nurse Case Manager (LPN)

(Daylight flex time)

Hours: Flexible Monday-Friday, 8-hour days (Holidays and weekends off). No on-call rotation responsibilities. Flexibility with start times.

Pay rate: Starting at $30 per hour. Time and a half after 40 hours weekly.

IDD Position for Residential Group Homes

Tired of bedside nursing? Looking for more flexibility? This is not your typical full-time nursing position.

• Candidates must be self-motivated with excellent time management skills.
• Daily tasks include coordination of client discharges, intake assessments, auditing medication records, managing medication orders, and staff training.
• The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of basic nursing concepts, including pharmacology, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential.
• Looking for someone eager to learn and grow as a nurse.
• Basic computer skills (email, Excel, Word) are beneficial; knowledge of 6400 regulations is a plus but training will be provided.
• Monitor health conditions and ensure quality services.
• Administer medications, document care, and oversee staff medication administration.
• Provide prescribed treatments and conduct assessments for ISP development.
• Train staff on safety, infection control, and medication procedures.
• Serve as liaison with medical and professional service providers.
• Provide training on self-medication, treatments, sex education/STD prevention, and smoking cessation.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing or related field, or graduation from an accredited LPN program.
• One year of nursing experience with the target population.
• Current state LPN or LVN license.
• CPR/FA certification or equivalent.
• Effective communication skills with staff, individuals served, and families.
