Job summary

Regency At Whitmore Lake is seeking an LPN to oversee and coordinate resident care on assigned shifts, under the direction of the Director of Nursing. The role provides clinical supervision to nursing assistants and supports continuity of care for residents and families.

The LPN will supervise CNAs, plan assignments, monitor staffing, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance while delivering compassionate, high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years of nursing experience in long-term or sub-acute preferred.
• Current state license to practice as an LPN.
• Current CPR certification or CPR certification within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Supervises CNAs/STNAs and other staff providing direct care
• Plans, assigns, and directs work in alignment with resident needs and staff capabilities
• Prepares work assignments, adjusting for staffing levels and resident safety
• Receives staffing-related calls and arranges replacements as needed
• Transfers employees among units per staffing demands
• Completes performance evaluations for CNAs/STNAs
• Adjusts break schedules and resolves staff concerns
• Use independent judgment in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
