Space Coast Healthcare & Rehabilitation located in Merritt Island, FL is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality care to residents. The role involves administering medications, assisting with treatments, and monitoring patients in a long-term care setting.

The successful candidate will have an active Florida LPN license, CPR certification, and at least 2 years of experience in a similar setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Florida LPN license valid.
• Current CPR certification.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in long-term care, rehabilitation, or similar healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Administer and document medications and treatments per policies and regulations.
• Assist physicians, nurse practitioners, and other staff with procedures and treatments.
• Observe and document vital signs, symptoms, and overall condition; report changes promptly.
• Provide patient-centered care in line with care plans and physician orders.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment to support optimal care.
• Perform other duties as assigned while upholding high standards of care.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and accurately document medications and treatments in compliance with policies and regulations.

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with individualized care plans and physician orders.
