Job summary

Lake City Healthcare and Rehabilitation in Lake City, FL, is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our night-shift team from 7 PM to 7 AM. You will administer medications, assist with exams, monitor vital signs, and provide compassionate, resident-centered care in accordance with care plans and regulatory guidelines.

The ideal candidate holds an active Florida LPN license, CPR certification, and at least two years of long-term care or rehab experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
• Active Florida LPN license.
• Current CPR certification.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in long-term care, rehab, or a related healthcare setting.
• Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer and document medications and treatments according to facility policies and state regulations.
• Assist physicians, nurse practitioners, and clinical staff with exams, procedures, and resident care needs.
• Monitor and document vital signs, symptoms, and changes in condition, communicating with the care team.
