Job summary

Space Coast Healthcare & Rehabilitation in Merritt Island, FL is seeking an compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide attentive, patient-centered care to residents. You will administer medications, monitor vital signs, and collaborate with physicians to follow care plans.

The ideal candidate holds an active Florida LPN license, CPR certification, and at least 2 years' experience in long-term care or rehabilitation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Florida LPN license.
• CPR certification.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in long-term care, rehabilitation, or a similar healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Administer and accurately document medications and treatments in compliance with policies and regulations.
• Assist physicians, nurse practitioners, and other medical staff with diagnostic procedures and treatments.
• Observe, assess, and document patients’ vital signs, symptoms, and overall condition, reporting changes promptly.
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with individualized care plans and physician orders.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment to support optimal patient care.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned, always upholding the highest standards of care.
