Job summary

Haven Homes, a Cassia community, is hiring Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our team in Maple Plain, MN. This is your opportunity to belong to a solid, stable, and fun team with low turnover while delivering compassionate, high-quality care and administering medications to residents. Position Type: Part-Time.

Shifts: Days 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM; Evenings 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM. Wage Range: $28.00 - $34.66 per hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Must have MN LPN license in good standing.
• Prior LTC experience preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Self-starter with a team mindset.

Responsibilities

• Administers medications and/or treatments per physician orders and monitors effectiveness.
• Manages medications, supplies, and equipment per policies.
• Documents care using computerized medication administration and charting software.
• Notifies Clinical Manager and physicians of significant changes in residents’ conditions.
• Performs additional duties as required.

Position Type: Part-Time

Shifts Available:
Days: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Evenings: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM

Wage Range:$28.00 - $34.66 / hour, depending on experience

Licensed Practical Nurse Responsibilities:

• Displays a courteous attitude and respect for all residents, families, and staff.
• Administers medications and/or treatments in accordance with physician's orders and monitors for effectiveness/response.
• Manages medications, supplies, and equipment including ordering, receiving, storing, and disposing of all items in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Documents care using computerized medication administration and charting software.
• Notifies Clinical Manager, attending physicians, and family members of significant changes in a resident's condition, and takes follow up action as necessary.
• Performs additional duties as required.

Licensed Practical Nurse Qualifications:

• Must have MN LPNLicense and be in good standing.
• Prior LTC experience preferred.
• Must have strong communication and organizational skills.
• Self-starter with a desire to be a part of a team.
