LPN / LVN – Surgical Services (Peri-Anesthesia)

Full-time | Evenings | 8-Hour Shifts
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) provides direct and indirect patient care in Surgical Services with a focus on Peri-Anesthesia (Pre-Op / PACU support). Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), this role supports preoperative and postoperative patient care, ensuring patient safety, rapid recovery, and quality outcomes.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
1.High School Diploma or equivalent required.
2.Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) required.
3.IV certificationandBlood Withdrawal (BW) certification within 90 days of hire date.
4.Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
5.Work experience in health care preferred.
Central Maine Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $27.00 to $30.75. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
