Job summary

Valley View Manor in Minnesota is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our care team. You will provide direct patient care, supervise CNAs, administer medications, and support wound care in accordance with facility policies.

The ideal candidate holds a current Minnesota LPN license, communicates effectively, and works well with staff, patients, families, and regulators to maintain high-quality care and safety. Full-time or part-time positions with competitive pay and benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Current license by the Minnesota Board of Nursing to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written form.
• Ability to interact with a variety of people and foster a team philosophy.
• Ability to negotiate and interact effectively with staff, patients, families, and professional/regulatory agents.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct patient care in accordance with state, federal, and facility guidelines.
• Supervising CNAs.
• Medication administration.
• Wound and treatment care.
• Provide general nursing care to patients in accordance with the facility nursing policy and procedure.
• Addressing problems identified in the patient care plan for RN Nurse review.
