Pediatric Plus Home Healthcare Services in Jeffersonville, IN is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses to provide in-home care. You will deliver medical and supportive services under physician directions, educate families, monitor patients, and collaborate with a clinical team. We offer flexible scheduling and benefits.

This role is available full-time, part-time, or PRN at one location with travel between patients’ homes as needed.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Provide care to patients in their homes under physician guidance.
Deliver medical and supportive care including teaching families.

Administer meds as ordered and ensure safety protocols.
Maintain infection control practices and chart observations.
Assist with transportation to appointments as needed.

Our agency is looking for Licensed Practical Nurses. A successful candidate will possess a high level of compassion and empathy and will enjoy working in a face-to-face environment. LPN responsibilities include providing medical, non medical, physical and emotional support, as well as teaching families about health-related issues and preventing disease.

Responsibilities

Provide care to patients in their homes.
Provide medical treatment to patients under the direction of a doctor or registered nurse.
Prepare drugs and medications according to doctors' orders.
Monitor patient’s condition and vital signs.
Adhere to infection control measures.
Monitor and record patients’ vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
Restore patients to health using physical therapy exercises, rehabilitative therapy, or massage therapy.
Assist with transporting patients to appointments using transportation equipment such as wheelchairs or ambulances.
Attend school with our patients that learn outside of the home setting.
