Legend Senior Living in Palm Harbor, FL, is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our nursing team. You will support clinical services such as resident medication management, service planning and supervising the nursing staff to ensure excellent direct care.

You will participate in resident assessments, move-in/move-out activities, and provide direct care during health emergencies or on-call rotations. The employer offers benefits and ongoing evaluations with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Current LPN nursing license and CPR certification as required by the state.
• 1 year of prior relevant experience preferred.
• Experience in supervisory roles, preferably in a senior living setting.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and training the nursing staff to ensure quality of care.
• Verifying the proper distribution and documentation of medications, treatments and orders.
• Participating in regular resident assessments and service planning, with follow-up with ancillary health care services as needed.
• Assisting with move-in and move-out processes including tours, orientation, evaluations, and family communications.
• Providing direct care during health emergencies or on-call rotations.
• Relaying resident concerns or changes to the appropriate department manager.

Requirements

Licensed Practical Nurse

• Required: current LPN nursing license and CPR certification as required by the state
• Prefer: 1 year of prior relevant experience
• Prefer: supervisory experience, preferably in senior living
