Job summary

The Laurels of Hudsonville is currently seeking an LPN to oversee and coordinate resident care on assigned shifts, under the direction of the Director of Nursing. The role provides clinical supervision to CNAs/STNAs and ensures continuity of high-quality care for residents in a Michigan facility.

We offer a comprehensive benefits package and a sign-on bonus of $10,000 for full-time and $5,000 for part-time positions.

Qualifications

• Current state license to practice as an LPN.
• CPR certification or CPR certification within 90 days of employment.
• Minimum 1–2 years of nursing experience in long-term or sub-acute care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises CNAs/STNAs and other staff providing direct care.
• Plans, assigns, and directs work in alignment with resident needs and staff capabilities.
• Prepares work assignments, adjusting for staffing levels and resident safety.
• Receives staffing-related calls and arranges replacements as needed.
• Transfers employees among units per staffing demands.
• Completes performance evaluations for CNAs/STNAs.
• Adjusts break schedules and resolves staff concerns.
• Use independent judgment in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
