Job summary

Avalon Care Center Federal Way in Washington state is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our skilled nursing team on the NOC shift. Part-time options (6PM–6:30AM) with a $4.00/hour differential are available, and full-time schedules with flexibility are also offered.

You will provide nursing care under an RN or physician, administer medications, develop care plans, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in Washington State
• Experience in long-term care preferred
• Ability to pass required background checks and screenings

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care under the supervision of an RN, physician, or authorized healthcare provider
• Participate in developing, implementing, and updating resident care plans
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
• Monitor resident health and report changes in condition
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and records
• Follow infection control and safety procedures
• Deliver compassionate, resident-centered care

What You'll Need

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Washington State
• Understanding of state and federal regulations governing long-term care
• Knowledge of infection control practices and procedures
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn company software
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Recent clinical experience, education, or specialty skills in geriatrics preferred
• Ability to pass required background checks and employment screenings
