Job summary

WesleyLife in Des Moines, IA is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide direct nursing care, wound care, IV therapy, and medication administration along with comprehensive resident assessments. You will administer medications, document findings, and develop individualized care plans in coordination with the care team.

Qualifications

Job Duties: Licensed Practical Nurse

• Provide direct nursing care, such as wound care, IV therapy, and catheter management. Comprehensive assessments of residents' health conditions, including vital signs, and developing individualized care plans.Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accurate documentation and monitoring for side effects.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate and optimize resident care, including communicating with physicians and families.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for residents.

Qualifications:

• State of Iowa LPN license
• Previous LTC experience is preferred but not required

Open Shifts Available

• Night Shift, 6:00p-6:30a Full Time or Part Time
• Day Shift, 6:00a-6:30p Full Time or Part Time
• Evening Shift, 2:30p-11:00p Full Time or Part Time
• PRN
