Job summary

WesleyLife in Pella, IA is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse to join a compassionate aging-care team. This role provides direct nursing care, administers medications, performs wound care, catheter management, and conducts health assessments to inform individualized care plans.

You will collaborate with physicians, families, and other caregivers to coordinate resident care while upholding regulatory standards and infection control.

Qualifications

• LPN license issued by the State of Iowa.
• LTC experience preferred but not required.
• Flexible shifts include night, day, evening; full-time or part-time.
• PRN option available.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care including wound care, IV therapy, and catheter management.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of residents' health and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications as prescribed and document administration and monitor for side effects.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate resident care and communicate with physicians and families.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and infection control protocols.
