WesleyLife is seeking an LPN to support the health, happiness, and daily experience of residents at The Village in Indianola. You will perform health assessments, administer medications, provide wound care and IV therapy, and collaborate with physicians and families to optimize care.

You will supervise CNAs, ensure infection control and regulatory compliance, and offer emotional support to residents and their loved ones as part of a compassionate care team.

• State of Iowa LPN License.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of residents' health conditions and vital signs, then develop care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed with careful documentation.
• Provide direct nursing care including wound care, IV therapy, and catheter management.
• Coordinate care with physicians and families and supervise CNAs and other staff.
• Ensure compliance with infection control and healthcare regulations to keep residents safe.
• Offer emotional support and education to residents and families.

About the Role: Licensed Practical Nurse

As a LPN, you'll play a key role in supporting the health, happiness, and daily experience of the residents at The Village in Indianola.

As a LPN, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of residents' health conditions, including vital signs, and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accurate documentation and monitoring for side effects.
• Provide direct nursing care, such as wound care, IV therapy, and catheter management.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate and optimize resident care, including communicating with physicians and families.
• Supervise and support CNAs and other healthcare staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for residents.
• Offer emotional support and education to residents and their families, promoting overall well-being and understanding of care plans.
• PRN
