Openings include 32 hours on 7a-3p, 3p-11p, and 11p-7a, and a 24-hour shift on 11p-7a. Shift differentials apply for evenings, overnights, and weekends. Weekly pay!

Job Description
As a Licensed Practical Nurse, your role is to provide direct nursing care under the supervision of the RN to residents and supervise the daily nursing activities performed by nursing assistants, ensuring the highest quality of care at all times.
Experience & Education
- Graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program.
- CPR certified.
- Current, unencumbered license to practice as an LPN/LVN in this state.
- New graduates are welcome!
Responsibilities
- Meet the nursing and rehabilitation needs of each resident.
- Maintain current resident care plans.
- Follow physician’s orders and assist with nursing care, treatments, and dressings.
- Transcribe physician’s orders accurately.
- Review patient records daily for accuracy.
- Document nursing notes comprehensively.
- Visit residents daily to evaluate needs.
- Maintain awareness of residents on alert list.
- Report and document any unusual findings; contact physicians as needed.
- Administer medication following procedures.
- Control and document drugs responsibly.
- Initiate emergency procedures when necessary.
- Follow safety techniques.
- Care for facility equipment and manage supplies responsibly.
- Promote effective communication and positive relations with residents and families.
- Comply with privacy policies to protect residents’ health information.
- Engage in ongoing professional growth.
- Demonstrate leadership skills.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
Specific Requirements
- Proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking, understanding).
- Ability to make independent decisions.
- Effective communication with personnel, residents, families, and the public.
- Knowledge of nursing practices, laws, and regulations related to long-term care.
- Leadership and supervisory abilities.
- Ability to plan, organize, and implement care programs.
- Accurate assessment skills.
- Knowledge of drug actions/interactions and restorative nursing policies.
- Patience, tact, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude towards difficult residents.
- Willingness to learn and incorporate new methods.
- Effective communication skills for emergency situations.
