Responsibilities

• Monitor residents and report changes in condition.

LPN Responsibilities

As an LPN, you will play an important role in providing safe, compassionate, and high-quality care to our residents. Responsibilities include:

• Provide nursing care to residents receiving long-term and rehabilitative services

• Administer medications and treatments as ordered

• Complete resident admissions, discharges, and transfers

• Communicate with pharmacies and physicians regarding medication needs and orders

• Monitor residents and promptly identify and report changes in condition

• Collect and document resident information accurately and in a timely manner

• Implement and evaluate resident care plans in accordance with applicable regulations

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to promote positive resident outcomes

• Follow infection prevention and control procedures, emergency protocols, and facility policies

• Maintain accurate nursing documentation and medical records

• Safely operate and maintain nursing equipment as required

• Maintain resident confidentiality and protect resident rights

• Provide compassionate communication and support to residents and their families

• Supervise and collaborate with nursing personnel as permitted by state regulations and facility policy

• Perform other nursing duties as assigned

LPN Qualifications

• Current, valid Florida LPN license

• CPR certification required

• 2 years of nursing experience preferred

• Long-term care, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation experience preferred

• Strong communication, organizational, and clinical skills

• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
