Job summary

The Legacy at Boca Raton Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their team. The facility is under new ownership and aims to provide a luxurious, five-star short-term care experience, with all shifts available.

Responsibilities include monitoring and planning nursing care under an RN, helping CNAs, teaching residents and families, and advocating for residents according to the facility's mission.

Qualifications

• Current/valid Florida LPN license/registration.
• Previous experience in long term care preferred.
• Must be in good physical and mental health.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a group.
• Effective communication with others.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)Responsibilities Include:

• Monitor, plan and implementthe nursing care of residents within the facility under direction of a Registered Nurse.
• Ensures continuity of care of residents between shifts by providing direct care as well as supervising the care given by CNAs and support staff members.
• Participates in resident and family teaching.
• Serves as resident advocate with focus on the facilitys mission.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)Qualifications/Requirements:
