Ebenezer is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the TCU/LTC team at Martin Luther Care Center in Bloomington, MN. 56 hours per two weeks with an evening shift and rotating weekends/holidays; eligible for full benefits including medical, dental, PTO, education funds.

Role includes nursing duties, supervision of support staff, and collaboration with the RN for resident care plans. 137 units across skilled nursing and memory care under Ebenezer’s care.

Qualifications

• MN LPN licensure required.
• AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or Red Cross CPR for Professional Rescuers required.
• Able to work independently with good communication.
• Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care per orders and document health status.
• Assist with medications, supplies, and operating medical equipment.
• Supervise and mentor unlicensed staff as needed.
• Monitor residents and communicate changes to RN and care team.
• Complete resident assessments and care plans as directed.
• Support RN with charting and documentation updates.

Job Overview

Ebenezer is looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our vibrant and welcoming TCU and LTC team at Martin Luther Care Center! This position performs a variety of professional nursing duties in compliance with the Comprehensive Home Care regulations and follows established policies and procedures for our beautiful Skilled Nursing Facility in Bloomington, MN.

This nursing schedule includes:

• 56 hours per two weeks
• Evening shift. Offers evening shift pay
• Every other weekend (sat/sunday) and holidays rotation
• Eligible for Full Benefits package (medical, dental, paid time off, education funds, more)

Martin Luther Care Center, part of the Martin Luther Senior Living Campus is located in East Bloomington, MN near woodlands/wetlands and along the Minnesota River Bluffs. Duties

• Provides skilled nursing care such as; implementing practitioners’ orders, ordering and assisting with medications and supplies, operates medical equipment, and charting practices
• Lifts and transfer residents as needed, Initiates emergency treatment as needed
• Monitors work and performance of unlicensed staff
• Updates RN with current observation and completes documentation of resident health status
• Communicates changes in residents conditions to relevant individuals
• May support RN by completing resident assessments, service agreements and care plans

Required

• MN LPN licensure
• AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or Red Cross CPR for Professional Rescuers
• Able to work independently
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred

• Previous healthcare experience
• Comfortable using computers, hand held devices, phones and fax machine
