Job summary

DocGo is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide mobile health services in New Jersey. This full-time role involves driving to patients’ homes, assessing and treating under supervision, and documenting care in HealthPoint and Athena EMR systems.

You’ll perform care in patients’ homes, coordinate with APP supervision, and maintain records per state regulations. A valid NJ/PA LPN license, phlebotomy experience, BLS, and driving ability are required, with bilingual English/Spanish

Qualifications

• Must hold NJ and PA LPN licenses
• Phlebotomy experience required
• Minimum of two years as an LPN
• Active American Heart Association BLS
• Valid driver’s license with 2+ years driving
• Ability to lift 50–60 lbs
• Pediatrics/urgent care experience preferred
• Fluent English/Spanish preferred

Responsibilities

• Act as a conduit for medical treatment of the Health Plan Partnerships patient population
• Navigate conversations about health, wellbeing, medication management, and goals of care
• Provide supervised, directed treatment of common medical diagnoses
• Participate in continuing education as required by the state and DocGo training team
• Adhere to clinical and safety standards, protocols, and performance metrics
• Provide care with cultural sensitivity and compassion

Job Description

You will be providing DocGo services in New Jersey by monitoring, assessing, and providing directed treatment common to complex injuries and illnesses through comprehensive assessments, including diagnosis, treatment, and outcome management for adult and pediatric patients. Here is what you can expect day-to-day as a Mobile Health Clinician –NJ at DocGo:

• Each day, you will drive to patients’ homes to provide care and monitoring
• While at a patient’s home, engage in assessments and provide treatment under the supervision of an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) for patients facing barriers to accessing the traditional healthcare system
• Throughout the treatment process, maintain patient medical records and documentation consistent with state regulations, DocGo standards, and policy through our HealthPoint and Athena EMR system
• You will be practicing under direction with synchronous telemedicine support

Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Must hold current unrestricted NJ and PA State LPN licenses
• Phlebotomy experience
• Minimum of two years of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
• Active and current American Heart Association BLS
• Valid Driver’s License in state of residency with 2+ years of driving experience, and an acceptable driving record
• Ability to lift 50-60 lbs
• Emergency Department, Urgent Care, Internal Medicine, Hospital – Critical Care, Family Practice or other relevant areas experience, preferred
• Clinical work experience with pediatrics, preferred
• Fluent bilingual English/Spanish, preferred
