Laurels of Bedford in Battle Creek, MI is seeking an LPN Supervisor to oversee and coordinate resident care across shifts, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and facility policy under the direction of the Director of Nursing. • Minimum 1-2 years of nursing experience in long-term or sub-acute preferred.
• Current state license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
• Current CPR certification or CPR certification within 90 days of employment

Responsibilities

• Supervises CNAs/STNAs and other staff providing direct care
• Plans, assigns, and directs work in alignment with resident needs and staff capabilities
• Prepares work assignments, adjusting for staffing levels and resident safety
• Receives staffing-related calls and arranges replacements as needed
• Completes performance evaluations for CNAs/STNAs
• Adjusts break schedules and resolves staff concerns
• Use independent judgment in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
