Job summary

Laurels of Hudsonville is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to oversee and coordinate resident care during assigned shifts under the direction of the Director of Nursing. You will supervise CNAs/STNAs and ensure continuity of care, serving as a key resource for residents, families, and staff.

The role requires an active Michigan LPN license and current CPR certification. We offer competitive pay and comprehensive benefits in a full-time, on-site position.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of nursing experience in long-term or sub-acute settings.
• Current state LPN license to practice in Michigan.
• Current CPR certification or CPR certification within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Supervises CNAs/STNAs and other staff providing direct care.
• Plans, assigns, and directs work to meet resident needs and staff capabilities.
• Prepares work assignments, adjusting for staffing levels and resident safety.
• Receives staffing-related calls and arranges replacements as needed.
• Completes performance evaluations for CNAs/STNAs.
• Adjusts break schedules and resolves staff concerns.
• Use independent judgment in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.

This role provides clinical supervision to nursing assistants, ensures continuity of care, and serves as a key resource for residents, families, and staff.
