Job summary

Pinnacle Treatment Centers, Inc. is seeking an LPN to join our team in a setting focused on addiction treatment and recovery.

You will work with the Nursing Supervisor and Executive Director to maintain a therapeutic environment and daily routines for residents, providing direct patient care and coordination with medical staff. Responsibilities include administering medications, following treatment plans, conducting tests, bloodwork, and staff training on health and safety.

Qualifications

  • Associates or better in Nursing or related field.
  • LPN license required in state of employment.
  • Compliance with MAT (Medication-Assisted Treatment) program protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Administer/dispense medication under direction of physician.
  • Ensure the treatment plan of the physician or Medical Director is being followed.
  • Give and interpret Mantoux Testing.
  • Complete blood draws.
  • Assist in training staff on health and safety and maintaining medical equipment.
  • Provide staff development training in health care needs (CPR, First Aid, Blood Pressure).
  • Educate clients about methadone maintenance and detoxification and lab results.

As an LPN, you play a direct role in saving the lives of our patients each day by serving our residents in a safe environment promoting long term recovery. You will partner with the Nursing Supervisor and Executive Director to establish and maintain a therapeutic environment and routine for our residents.

Requirements:

  • Licensed Practical Nurse in the state seeking employment
  • Comfortable working independently with the population when needed
  • Compliance with MAT (Medication-Assisted Treatment) program protocols

Responsibilities:

  • Administer/dispense medication under direction of physician
  • Ensure the treatment plan of the physician or Medical Director is being followed
  • Giving and interpreting Mantoux Testing
  • Complete blood draws
  • Assists in training staff in medical and health and safety matters as well as assisting in properly maintaining medical equipment.
  • Provide training for staff development specific to health care needs i.e., CPR, First Aid, Blood Pressure.
  • Educates clients about methadone maintenance and detoxification as well as side effects and provides education to clients on lab results and all medical matters.
  • Educates pregnant patients about prenatal care and assists primary counselor in coordinating outside services as needed.
  • Other duties as needed.
