Job summary

Pinnacle Treatment Centers, Inc. is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in Virginia.

You will play a direct role in ensuring a safe, therapeutic environment for residents and collaborate with the Nursing Supervisor and Executive Director to support long-term recovery. Responsibilities include administering methadone or buprenorphine, coordinating appointments, maintaining medical records, and supporting detox monitoring.

Qualifications

  • Licensed Practical Nurse in Virginia.
  • Ability to work independently with residents as needed.
  • Compliance with MAT program protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Administer/dispense methadone or buprenorphine per state and federal regulations.
  • Schedule psychological testing, medical, dental, and vision appointments.
  • Maintain and update all medical records and documentation for clients.
  • Assist in transporting clients to appointments as needed.
  • Maintain contact with community medical personnel.
  • Manage medical charts for medications.
  • Assist in purchasing medical supplies.
  • Monitor detoxification patients and respond to symptoms.

As an LPN, you play a direct role in saving the lives of our patients each day by serving our residents in a safe environment promoting long term recovery. You will partner with the Nursing Supervisor and Executive Director to establish and maintain a therapeutic environment and routine for our residents.

Requirements:
  • Licensed Practical Nurse in the state seeking employment
  • Comfortable working independently with the population when needed
  • Compliance with MAT (Medication-Assisted Treatment) program protocols
Responsibilities:
  • Administer/dispense methadone or buprenorphine in accordance with Virginia state and Federal regulations.
  • Schedule appointments necessary for psychological testing, doctor's appointments, dental, and eye doctor appointments.
  • Maintain and keep updated all medical records and documentation pertaining to the clients.
  • Assist as needed in transport of clients to necessary appointments.
  • Maintain contact with community medical personnel.
  • Responsible for medical charts for non-prescribed and prescription medication.
  • Assist in purchasing of medical supplies.
  • Monitor all detoxification clients and initiate appropriate medical response to detoxification symptoms.
