Job summary

Pinnacle Treatment Centers is a growing leader in addiction treatment services across the nation, serving more than 35,000 patients daily. As an LPN, you will play a direct role in saving lives by maintaining a therapeutic environment for residents, in collaboration with the Nursing Supervisor and Executive Director.

Requirements include being a licensed Practical Nurse in the state of employment, ability to work independently, and compliance with MAT program protocols.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) required in the state of employment.
• Comfortable working independently with the resident population when needed.
• Compliance with MAT (Medication-Assisted Treatment) program protocols.

Responsibilities

• Administer/dispense medication under direction of physician.
• Ensure the treatment plan of the physician or Medical Director is being followed.
• Giving and interpreting Mantoux Testing.
• Complete blood draws.
• Assist in training staff in medical and health and safety matters; maintain medical equipment.
• Provide staff development training (e.g., CPR, First Aid, Blood Pressure).
• Educate clients about methadone maintenance and detoxification; explain lab results and medical matters.
• Educate pregnant patients about prenatal care and coordinate outside services with primary counselor.
• Other duties as needed.

As an LPN, you play a direct role in saving the lives of our patients each day by serving our residents in a safe environment promoting long term recovery. You will partner with the Nursing Supervisor and Executive Director to establish and maintain a therapeutic environment and routine for our residents.

Requirements:

• Licensed Practical Nurse in the state seeking employment
• Comfortable working independently with the population when needed
• Compliance with MAT (Medication-Assisted Treatment) program protocols

• Provide training for staff development specific to health care needs i.e., CPR, First Aid, Blood Pressure.
• Educates clients about methadone maintenance and detoxification as well as side effects and provides education to clients on lab results and all medical matters.
• Educates pregnant patients about prenatal care and assists primary counselor in coordinating outside services as needed.
• Other duties as needed.
