(Charleston Post Acute) Las Vegas Ridge Healthcare, LLC is seeking an experienced nurse supervisor to provide direct nursing care to residents and oversee daily nursing activities performed by nursing assistants. The role requires adherence to federal, state, and local standards and the directives of the Director of Nursing Services to ensure high-quality care.

The position includes charting, medication administration, coordinating care plans, and participating in quality assurance activities.

Qualifications

• Direct the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants.
• Ensure compliance with written policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Participate in development, maintenance, and implementation of quality assurance programs.
• Coordinate care plans and communicate with physicians, residents, and families.

Responsabilités

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the long-term care facility.
• Ensure that all nursing personnel assigned to you comply with the written policies and procedures established by this facility.
• Periodically review the department's policies, procedure manuals, job descriptions, etc.
• Meet with your assigned nursing staff, as well as support personnel, in planning the shifts' services, programs, and activities.
• Ensure that the Nursing Service Procedures Manual is current and reflects the day-to-day nursing procedures performed in this facility.
