Villa Healthcare is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in Michigan. The LPN will be responsible for providing licensed nursing care to residents, administering medications, and ensuring care plans are followed.

Duties include supervising CNAs, recording vitals, and maintaining a safe, sanitary environment. The role requires current CPR certification and an active LPN license in the state, with preference for 1 year of experience and long-term care exposure.

Qualifications

• Current CPR certification is required.
• Hold a valid LPN license in the state.
• Minimum 1 year of experience preferred.
• Long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides licensed care to residents as ordered by physician and per regulations.
• Maintains and cleans nurse station, medications area, and treatment spaces.
• Directs and supervises day-to-day CNA services for the unit.
• Prepares and administers medications and treatments as ordered.
• Charts nurse notes reflecting care and resident responses.
• Completes forms on admission, transfer and discharge.
• Ensures safety and minimizes hazards in the resident environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
