RHA Health Services, LLC is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (IDD LPN) for day shifts in Murfreesboro, TN. Join a team focused on delivering holistic nursing care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and mental health challenges.

You will assist the RN, help with medication administration, and train unlicensed staff while coordinating routine medical appointments and documenting health data. A current LPN license and CPR certification are required.

• Graduation from an accredited licensed nurse program.
• Current nursing license with no restrictions to practice.
• Current CPR certification or eligibility to obtain certification.
• Ability to communicate effectively with the Interdisciplinary Team and families.

No relocation packaged offered.Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6am - 10pm Work 3 days (2-16hr,1-8hr) in rotationJob ResponsibilitiesProvide holistic nursing care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilitiesAssist the Registered Nurse in delivering quality nursing services to persons supportedProvide health related training to unlicensed personnelAdminister medications and treatments or assist the person supported with medication administrationAssist with ensuring preventative and routine medical appointments are scheduledConduct medication closest assessmentsCollect health related dataObserve for and report any abnormal health related findings to the physicianCommunicate with physicians, pharmacies, medical suppliers, and the Interdisciplinary TeamAdvocate for the people supported and assist with developing community supports to promote optimal health for the people supportedRequirementsGraduation from an accredited licensed nurse programCurrent nursing license with no restrictions to practice nursing.Current CPR Certification or eligibility to obtain certificationMust be able to communicate effectively with Interdisciplinary Team Members, as well as the people supported and their familiesMust be able to work independently, be organized, and possess the ability to prioritize work tasksPre-employment screening:Complete criminal backgroundName checked in the registries.
