Job summary

RHA Health Services, LLC is seeking an IDD Nurse (LPN) in Maxton, NC for a full-time position. You will provide holistic nursing care, assist with medication administration, and coordinate with the Interdisciplinary Team to support individuals with IDD, mental health, or substance use challenges.

The role requires graduating from an accredited nursing program, active licensure with CPR certification, and the ability to communicate effectively with a care team and families.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited licensed nurse program.
• Current nursing license without restrictions to practice.
• Current CPR Certification or eligibility to obtain certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Assist the Registered Nurse in delivering nursing services and medication administration.
• Administer medications and treatments or assist the person supported with medication administration.
• Assist with scheduling preventative and routine medical appointments.
• Conduct medication closest assessments and collect health data.
• Observe and report abnormal health findings to the physician; communicate with the Interdisciplinary Team.
• Advocate for people supported and help develop community supports to promote health.
