Job summary

Sentara Hospice in Chesapeake, VA seeks a qualified Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for full-time night shift (12:00 AM–8:30 AM). You will provide direct, one-on-one home health care, monitor patient status, administer treatments, and manage medications in patients' homes under supervision of RNs and physicians.

The ideal candidate holds a VA LPN license, is a trade school graduate in nursing, and has 2 years of nursing experience, with hospice experience strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• LPN licensure in VA is required.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience; hospice experience preferred.
• Trade school nursing education completed.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, one-on-one nursing care in patients' homes.
