Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team across Hampton Roads, VA. Competitive pay and flexible scheduling provide per diem opportunities.

Active LPN license, 1 year facility experience, current BLS/CPR, and recent PPD are required. Per diem role includes medication administration, patient education, wound care, and coordination with healthcare teams; local applicants only.

Qualifications

• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• PPD test within the last year.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.

• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
