Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team in Hampton Roads, VA. Per diem positions offer flexible scheduling and prompt pay options.

Ideal candidates hold an active LPN license, with at least 1 year of facility-based experience, current BLS/CPR, and ability to meet physical requirements. Local staffing coordinators support shifts from 5 AM to 11:30 PM.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license required.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• PPD test within the last year.
• Ability to meet physical requirements with or without accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
