Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced and dependable Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team throughout Hampton Roads.

This per diem role offers $37-$39/hour with same-day or next-day pay, weekly pay, flexible scheduling and a signing bonus after completion of 2 shifts. Local applicants only. Per diem hours provide variety and support from local staffing coordinators from 5 AM to 11:30 PM.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license is required.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• PPD test within the last year.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
