PAM Health Specialty Hospital of Dayton is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the acute care team in the Dayton area. The LPN/LVN provides nursing care under an RN, gathers data, administers treatments, and supports patients across age groups while adhering to PAM Health policies.

The ideal candidate holds LPN/LVN licensure in the state (or compact), maintains current BLS certification, and is prepared to obtain IV certification within 90 days if required.

Qualifications

• Current LPN/LVN licensure in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure.
• BLS certification required; AHA approved within 90 days of employment.
• IV certification within 90 days of employment if state regulations require it.
• One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care as directed by an RN, including data gathering and carrying out orders.
• Perform therapeutic nursing procedures on patients in an age-appropriate manner, following PAM Health policies.
