PAM Health Specialty and Rehabilitation Hospitals of Miamisburg is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN/LPN) to provide nursing care under RN direction, perform procedures, and report data on an age-appropriate unit.

Requirements include current LPN/LVN license in Ohio or compact licensure, BLS (AHA approved within 90 days), IV certification if state regulations require, and about one year inpatient medical-surgical experience preferred.

Qualifications

• LPN/LVN license in the state where the hospital resides or compact licensure.
• BLS certification required; must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment.
• IV Certification may be required by state regulations.

Responsabilités

• Provide nursing care under RN direction on the unit.

Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN/LPN)

The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN/LPN) is responsible for providing appropriate nursing care, as directed by an RN on the nursing unit. Functions include gathering and reporting data, carrying out orders, and performing therapeutic procedures on patients in an age and population-appropriate manner, consistent with the policies, procedures, and guidelines of PAM Health. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

Education and Training:

Holds current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates. Current BLS certification required. BLS certification must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment.

• Current IV Certification within 90 days of employment, if required per state regulations.

Experience:

One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required
