Job Responsibilities

• Under supervision of the RN Unit Manager or DON, perform as a licensed caregiver, responsible and accountable for assigned residents/patients during your shift.
• Coordinate, implement, and evaluate the resident’s/patient’s plan of care.
• Adhere to standards of care, manage the environment to ensure resident/patient safety.
• Supervise nursing assistants and their care activities.
• Follow all policies and procedures of the center.
• Perform duties as defined by the State Nurse Practice Act.

Required Education and Experience

• Licensed in the State as an LPN.
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to operate necessary supplies and equipment.
• Ability to calculate drug dosages.
• Meet all health requirements imposed by law.
• Positive and effective communication with residents, families, community members, volunteers, and staff.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English; basic computer knowledge with aptitude to learn company applications.
