Job summary

Sunrise Community of Tennessee, Inc. is seeking a licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide medical services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

You will follow each person’s plan to promote optimal health and wellbeing, performing tasks like measuring vitals and assisting with routine care. Requirements include a valid LPN license, a valid driver’s license with endorsements, and at least 3 years of driving experience.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Driver's License with all necessary endorsements and have a minimum of 3 years of driving experience.
• Must possess basic computer skills.
• Experience working with people with intellectual/developmental disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists in providing basic healthcare services according to the individual’s plan.
• Performs delegated tasks such as blood pressure monitoring and weights.
• Ensures documentation is accurate and complete according to regulations.
• Keeps supplies and equipment organized and restocked.
• Collaborates with Direct Support Professionals to meet individuals’ needs.
• Communicates changes in medical or behavioral status to supervisor.
