Position Summary :

Under the day-to-day direction of the on-duty Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant, this position is responsible for maximizing patient flow through the clinic while providing an excellent patient experience. The role involves performing clinical and administrative tasks, including EMR documentation, in accordance with company policy. Key responsibilities include:

1. Assisting in maintaining a "365 day survey-ready" environment for Joint Commission Accreditation.
2. Collecting patients' health information and medical history.
3. Relaying information between patients and providers.
4. Conducting biometric screenings.
5. Administering flu and pneumonia immunizations as prescribed by the provider.
6. Assisting the provider with specimen collection and other specified protocols.
7. Escort patients to exam rooms and determine their chief complaints.
8. Consulting with providers regarding scope of services.
9. Greeting patients and visitors.
10. Cleaning and organizing the clinic space daily.
11. Answering questions following HIPAA guidelines.
12. Utilizing the PERK system.
13. Determining payment methods and assisting with insurance documentation.
14. Completing registration and logging patient information in EMR.
15. Processing payments and managing patient flow.
16. Providing guidance to waiting patients regarding registration, wait times, and services.
17. Answering phones and responding to inquiries.
18. Participating in off-site events and monthly screening events.
19. Ordering supplies and preparing shipping packages.
20. Traveling to designated clinics within a specified geographic area.
21. Performing essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Minimum qualifications include:
