Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in Orlando is looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to care for pediatric and/or adult patients in their own homes, working Full Time or Part Time nights in Windermere.

Salary is $32 - $33 per hour with a note about a possible sign-on bonus. The role emphasizes skilled nursing, home health and flexible scheduling in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the practicing state.
• Current TB screening or Chest X-Ray on file.
• Current BLS card.
• One year of hands-on nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Provide skilled nursing services in accordance with prescribed orders on each assignment.
• Assess changes in the patient’s condition, documenting and reporting signs and symptoms.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data from health care team and document nursing diagnoses.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.

Qualifications:

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state in which the LPN will practice.
