Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in Orlando is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide in-home care for pediatric and/or adult patients in Saint Cloud, FL. This is a full-time role with DAYs and NIGHTS work in patients' homes.

Pay is $31-$33 per hour. Sign-on bonus is available. The nurse will use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care and deliver skilled services per physician orders.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state of practice.
• One year of hands-on nursing experience required.
• Current TB or Chest X-Ray clearance.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provide skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data and information from health care members and document actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
