Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in Orlando is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide home-based care for pediatric and/or adult patients. Positions available: Full Time or Part Time, DAYS or NIGHTS in Winter Garden.

Salary ranges from $32 to $33 per hour with potential sign-on bonuses. Responsibilities include performing the nursing process, delivering skilled care per orders, monitoring patient status, and documenting findings.

Qualifications

• Licensed LPN/LVN in the practicing state.
• Current TB test or chest X-ray document.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Minimum one year hands-on nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Provide skilled nursing care/services in accordance with orders on each assignment.
• Assess signs and symptoms of physiologic and psychosocial changes.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.

Qualifications:

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state in which the LPN will practice.
• Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year of hands-on experience as a professional nurse is required
