Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program and licensed as LPN in Texas.
• Experience with detainee health care preferred.
• Ability to perform physical assessments and basic medical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Develop nursing care plans under RN supervision.
• Perform detainee health assessments and history taking.
• Assist physicians with sick calls and minor procedures.
• Administer medications per orders and formulary.
• Document contacts and maintain confidentiality of medical records.
• Maintain security during medication administration and care.
