Job summary

DelRicht Research in Tennessee is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in our clinical studies. You will ensure accurate visit flow, adherence to trial protocols, and timely data entry across medical record systems while serving as the main liaison for sponsors and CROs onsite.

The position is full-time in Hendersonville with 20% flexibility to Smyrna. A nursing license is required, with CMA/RMA/CCMA credentials considered.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of professional experience in a medical/clinical environment.
• Active nursing certificate required; CMA/RMA/CCMA credentials also considered.
• Bachelor's degree from accredited university preferred.
• Professional experience in patient-facing healthcare positions preferred.
• Experience in on-site, customer-facing role preferred.
• Coffee lovers welcome.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality patient care and ensure a positive patient experience in clinical trials.
• Ensure visits are completed accurately and efficiently with protocol adherence.
• Assist enrollment and retention activities for patients in trials.
• Perform intramuscular injections safely and accurately.
• Enter clinical data across medical record systems on time.
• Serve as main point of contact for sponsors and CROs onsite and offsite.
• Maintain timely physician updates and clear communication with site team.

Licensed Practical Nurse’s Main Objective

Overall, the Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for providing quality, excellent patient care and a great experience for our patients in our clinical research studies:

• Patients have a fun, positive and comfortable experience throughout their time in our clinic
• Patient visits are completed accurately and efficiently, with 100% adherence to clinical trial protocols
• Patient enrollment and retention activities are executed with focus and follow-through
• Perform intramuscular (IM) injections safely and accurately
• Clinical data is entered accurately and on time across various medical record systems and platforms
• Lead and main point of contact for Pharmaceutical Sponsors and Contract Research Organizations for all clinical trials
• Ensuring sponsors and clients have amazing customer service when they are onsite at our clinic and assuring we are always providing clear, constant communication with them when they are off site
• Physicians receive timely patient and protocol updates that reinforce confidence in the site tea

Skills needed to win

• Required: 1+ of professional experience, ideally in a medical or clinical environment
• Preferred: Active nursing certificate (VN, LPN, or RN) required; medical assistant (CMA, RMA, CCMA) credentials also considered!
• Preferred: B.S. or B.A. from an accredited university
• Preferred: Professional experience in a patient-facing or healthcare position
• Preferred: Experience in an on-site, customer-facing role
• Coffee drinkers preferred. Tea drinkers accepted.
