Job summary

DelRicht Research in Hendersonville, TN is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to provide high-quality patient care within our clinical studies and ensure a positive patient experience throughout visits. You will support enrollment, accurate data entry, and timely protocol updates for sponsors and CROs.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year medical experience with CMA/RMA/CCMA or nursing licensure preferred and a Bachelor’s degree is favored.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of professional experience in medical or clinical environments.
• Active CMA/RMA/CCMA or nursing license preferred.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university preferred.
• Experience in a patient-facing or healthcare position preferred.
• Experience in an on-site, customer-facing role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality patient care and create a positive clinic experience for trial participants.
• Perform intramuscular injections safely and accurately.
• Enter clinical data accurately and on time across medical record systems.
• Serve as lead contact for Pharmaceutical Sponsors and CROs for trials.
• Maintain clear, proactive communication with sponsors and clinicians.
• Ensure adherence to study protocols and high standards of compliance.

Certified Medical Assistant’s Main Objective:

Overall, the Certified Medical Assistant is responsible for providing quality, excellent patient care and a great experience for our patients in our clinical research studies:

• Patients have a fun, positive and comfortable experience throughout their time in our clinic
• Patient visits are completed accurately and efficiently, with 100% adherence to clinical trial protocols
• Patient enrollment and retention activities are executed with focus and follow-through
• Perform intramuscular (IM) injections safely and accurately
• Clinical data is entered accurately and on time across various medical record systems and platforms
• Lead and main point of contact for Pharmaceutical Sponsors and Contract Research Organizations for all clinical trials
• Ensuring sponsors and clients have amazing customer service when they are onsite at our clinic and assuring we are always providing clear, constant communication with them when they are off site
• Physicians receive timely patient and protocol updates that reinforce confidence in the site tea

Skills needed to win:

• Required: 1+ of professional experience, ideally in a medical or clinical environment
• Preferred: Active medical assistant (CMA, RMA, CCMA) or nursing (VN, LPN, or RN) license
• Preferred: B.S. or B.A. from an accredited university
• Preferred: Professional experience in a patient-facing or healthcare position
• Preferred: Experience in an on-site, customer-facing role
• Coffee drinkers preferred. Tea drinkers accepted.

Job Type: Full-Time 40+ hrs

Location: Hendersonville, TN with 20% flex to our Smyrna, TN clinic

Base Salary: $60,000-$67,000
