Job summary

DelRicht Research seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse to ensure a positive patient experience in our clinic and accurate, protocol-adherent visits at Hendersonville, TN with 20% flex to Smyrna, TN. The role includes IM injections, data entry, and liaison duties with sponsors and CROs.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year healthcare experience, active nursing certification, and a background in patient-facing roles; B.S./B.A. is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of professional experience, ideally in a medical or clinical environment.
• Active nursing certificate preferred (VN, LPN, or RN); CMA/RMA/CCMA credentials considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide a positive, comfortable patient experience throughout their clinic visit.
• Complete patient visits accurately and efficiently in line with trial protocols.
• Enroll and retain patients in clinical trials with focused execution.
• Perform intramuscular injections safely and accurately.
• Enter clinical data across multiple medical record systems in a timely manner.
• Serve as lead contact for Pharmaceutical Sponsors and CROs for trials.

Our clinical trials provide new treatment options for our patients and ultimately our goal is to get new medications and medical devices FDA approved! Licensed Practical Nurse’s Main Objective

• Patients have a fun, positive and comfortable experience throughout their time in our clinic
• Patient visits are completed accurately and efficiently, with 100% adherence to clinical trial protocols
• Patient enrollment and retention activities are executed with focus and follow-through
• Perform intramuscular (IM) injections safely and accurately
• Clinical data is entered accurately and on time across various medical record systems and platforms
• Lead and main point of contact for Pharmaceutical Sponsors and Contract Research Organizations for all clinical trials
• Ensuring sponsors and clients have amazing customer service when they are onsite at our clinic and assuring we are always providing clear, constant communication with them when they are off site
• Physicians receive timely patient and protocol updates that reinforce confidence in the site team

Skills needed to win

• Required: 1+ of professional experience, ideally in a medical or clinical environment
• Preferred: Active nursing certificate (VN, LPN, or RN) required; medical assistant (CMA, RMA, CCMA) credentials also considered!
• Preferred: B.S. or B.A. from an accredited university
• Preferred: Professional experience in a patient-facing or healthcare position
• Preferred: Experience in an on-site, customer-facing role
• Coffee drinkers preferred. Tea drinkers accepted.
