Job summary

DelRicht Research in Charleston, SC is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our on-site team for a temporary, full-time position. You will guide patients through visits, perform IM injections, and manage specimen processing and data entry in compliance with study protocols.

We value a positive, patient-centered attitude and the ability to balance multiple tasks. Prior clinical care experience is essential; clinical research experience is not required.

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse certification required.
• Experience and confidence administering intramuscular injections required.
• Clinical research experience not required.

Responsibilities

• Guide patients through every step of their visit to our clinic, including rooming, vitals, ECGs, documentation, blood draws, charting, and IM injections.
• Perform intramuscular injections safely and accurately.
• Process and ship biological samples according to study protocols.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient charting, reviewing your own work for quality and precision.
• Capture data from patient questionnaires and enter it into multiple online systems with attention to accuracy.
• Your work directly supports groundbreaking clinical trials that move medicine forward.

Please Note: This is a temporary, full-time position projected to last 6 months. We are seeking a candidate to work on site, Monday through Friday from 8:30am-5pm.

Licensed Practical Nurse's Main Objective:

Deliver excellent care and a positive experience for our clinical research patients.

Skills needed to win:

• Required: Active Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse certification. Medical Assistant candidates with an active CMA, CCMA, or RMA also welcome!
• Required: Experience and confidence safely administering intramuscular (IM) injections
• Previous Clinical Research experience is not required!
