St. Joseph's a Villa Center seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team.

The LPN assumes responsibility for a group of residents during a shift, delivering licensed nursing care and completing required documentation in accordance with regulations. Responsibilities include administering medications, monitoring vital signs, supervising CNAs, updating care plans, and reporting to physicians and the care team.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Michigan LPN license.
• CPR certification required.
• One year of LPN experience preferred.
• Long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide licensed care to residents as ordered by physician.
• Report nursing information at shift changes.
• Maintain clean and sanitary work areas.
• Supervise CNAs on the assigned unit.
• Assess residents and review care plans.
• Take vital signs and administer medications as ordered.
• Record nurse notes reflecting care and outcomes.
• Complete admission, transfer, discharge forms.
• Maintain safety and address hazards.
• Report activities of shift to IDT as required.
