Job summary

Atrium Health in North and South Carolina ambulatory clinics seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse to join the physician office care team. You will provide nursing services in an office setting, document care in the medical record, perform triage, vital signs, injections, and assist with procedures under provider orders.

Required: current LPN license (NC or SC), graduate of an Accredited School of practical nursing, BLS, and prior medical office experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse with current license to practice in NC or SC.
• Graduate of an Accredited School of practical nursing.
• Previous medical office experience preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Documents all patient care/interactions in the medical record.
• Provides nursing services in an office setting as part of a care team.
• Performs triage via telephone and provides protocol-based guidance.
• Assists with procedures, injections, and specimen collection as needed.
• Monitors vitals, medication administration, and standard precautions.
• Uses EMR for order entry and patient documentation.
